About the Artist

Creating has never simply been about making jewelry. It’s about telling a story, celebrating life in every moment and creating pieces that will be treasured for generations to come.

30 years ago at Ball State University, I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in metalsmithing. While jewelry quickly became my true passion, my fine arts education gave me something even greater, an appreciation for design, composition, color, texture, and craftsmanship. That foundation continues to influence everything I create.
After graduating, I followed my dream to the Chicago area and joined Peggie Robinson Designs in Evanston, Illinois. There, I worked with sterling silver, gold, and platinum while learning the precision and artistry behind fine jewelry. I also learned to design original pieces for the studio. Seeing customers embrace those designs gave me the confidence to believe I could build a business around my own creative vision.
I returned to Indiana and continued refining my skills at Steven Wright Jewelers in Indianapolis before pursuing my dream of creating under my own name. In 2001, I began designing and creating handcrafted jewelry through Angie Meyers Designs, and in 2008 I established Angie Meyers Designs, LLC.
This business is a labor of love.  I built my studio one piece at a time while balancing other careers and raising three wonderful children. Through every season of life, creating has remained my constant.  I am grateful for the love and encouragement of my husband and family, who have supported this dream every step of the way.
I believe an artist should never stop learning. I love exploring new materials and techniques, from handcrafted leather and mixed media modern laser engraving, while staying true to the traditional craftsmanship that first inspired me to become a metalsmith.
Every piece I create is thoughtfully designed and handcrafted in my Indiana studio. Whether it’s a one-of-a-kind statement piece, a meaningful keepsake, or an everyday favorite, my hope is that it tells a story, creates a connection, and becomes something you’ll treasure for years to come.
Thank you for supporting handmade and for allowing me to share a little piece of my heart through my work.
